Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Tramper. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Tramper mobile application and related services. By accessing or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • “Shopper”, “Recipient”, or “Orderer”
Means a registered member who requests a Traveler to carry and deliver an item (or items) through the Application, or a member who ships an item via  a Traveler.
  • “Traveler”
Means a registered member who lists their travel origin and destination on the Application and agrees to carry items on behalf of Shoppers.
  • “Application”
Refers to the Tramper mobile application available on iOS and Android platforms.
  • “Time zone”
All times displayed in the Application are shown in the local time zone of the Traveler’s departure or arrival city, as applicable.

3. Description of Tramper

Tramper is a peer-to-peer logistics platform that facilitates connections between Shoppers and Travelers for the purpose of transporting items between locations.

Tramper does not operate as a carrier, courier, freight forwarder, or shipping company. Instead, Tramper provides a technology platform that enables members to coordinate shipments independently.

4. Account Registration

To use the Tramper services, you must first create an account on the Application. Once registered, you may:

  • Post a shipment request as a Shopper, or
  • List a trip as a Traveler to receive shipment inquiries.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date.

How to Establish a Tramper Account

To create a Tramper account and become a registered member, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older.

During the registration process, you will be required to create a personal account profile and provide certain information about yourself. By completing the registration, you represent and warrant that:

1. Accuracy of Information
All information you provide during registration and within your account profile is true, accurate, and complete.

2. Ongoing Updates
You agree to promptly update your account profile to ensure that all information remains accurate and current if any changes occur.

3. Acceptance of Terms
You confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following:

o Tramper Terms of Use

o Tramper Privacy Policy

o Tramper Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in suspension or termination of your account at Tramper’s sole discretion.

Managing Your Tramper Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Tramper account and login credentials. All activities conducted through your account are deemed to be performed by you.

If your account has been compromised, hacked, or if you suspect any unauthorized or unusual activity, you must notify Tramper immediately by contacting support@tramperme.com. Upon notification, Tramper may take appropriate action, including temporarily suspending or disabling the account to prevent further misuse. You acknowledge that you remain responsible for all actions taken through your account prior to such notification.

Fees and Rewards

Delivery fees and suggested rewards for shipment services are automatically calculated and proposed by Tramper based on internal criteria. The Shopper may, at their discretion, increase the suggested reward within a range determined and permitted by Tramper.

Tramper reserves the right to modify fee calculation methods, reward ranges, or related policies at any time in accordance with its Terms of Use.

Shipment Handover and Legal Compliance

Tramper strongly recommends that Shoppers send shipments using the original merchant’s courier service, a recognized delivery company, or any similar secure method, rather than arranging in-person meetings between the Shopper and the Traveler for shipment handover.

This recommendation is intended to help ensure the safety, security, and legality of the shipment contents. Shoppers are solely responsible for ensuring that all shipped items comply with applicable laws, regulations, and customs requirements.

Tramper shall not be responsible or liable for any shipment that contains illegal, prohibited, or restricted items, or for any legal consequences arising from such shipments. Any violation of applicable laws may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Risk of Loss of an Item

When a Traveler carries a shipment, the risk of loss remains with the Shopper provided that the Traveler has exercised reasonable care in handling the shipment.

If a shipment is placed inside a Traveler’s checked luggage and the luggage is lost by the airline, responsibility for such loss lies solely with the airline and not with the Traveler or Tramper. In such cases, the Traveler may be required to provide valid legal documentation or official evidence confirming that the luggage was lost by the airline.

However, if the luggage itself is not lost or stolen and the Traveler admits that the shipment or any part of it was lost, removed, or damaged while in their possession, the Traveler shall be solely responsible for reimbursing the Shopper for the value of the lost or damaged items. Tramper shall not be responsible for such reimbursement.

Safety Violations and Investigation

If a Shopper believes that a shipment was lost, stolen, or damaged due to the negligence, misconduct, or intentional actions of a Traveler, the Shopper must report the issue promptly by contacting support@tramper.com

Upon receiving a valid report, Tramper may initiate an internal investigation. Subject to the results of the investigation, Tramper may provide shipment protection coverage up to a maximum amount of USD 1,000for losses caused by theft.

Investigations typically take between 14 to 45 days, and coverage is granted at Tramper’s sole discretion, based on the evidence provided by all parties involved.

The assessment and determination of any shipment compensation shall be conducted solely by Tramper after the shopper submits the official shipment invoice or proof of value. Such documentation must include accurate details of the items carried by the Traveler, including descriptions, quantities, and declared value.

Tramper reserves the right to verify the authenticity and accuracy of the submitted documents and to approve, adjust, or deny compensation based on the results of its review, the outcome of any investigation, and the applicable Terms and Conditions.

Prohibited Items

Travelers are strongly encouraged to inspect the contents of any shipment before accepting it. For the safety and legal protection of all parties, Tramper strongly advises Travelers not to accept sealed or closed packages unless the shipment is sent directly by a recognized shopping website or licensed courier.

Both Shoppers and Travelers are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and customs requirements of the country of origin, destination, and any transit jurisdiction.

The following items are strictly prohibited from being transported through the Tramper platform:

· Weapons of any kind, including knives, police batons, and similar items

· Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and explosive materials

· Aerosols and flammable liquids

· Batteries (including loose, lithium, or restricted batteries)

Any shipment found to contain prohibited items may be rejected, confiscated, reported to the relevant authorities, and may result in immediate suspension or termination of the Shopper’s and/or Traveler’s account. Tramper bears no responsibility or liability for losses, penalties, or legal consequences arising from prohibited items.

Changes to These Terms of Use

Tramper reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time. When changes are made, the updated Terms of Use will be posted within the Application and marked with the date of the most recent revision.

Your continued use of the Tramper Application or services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms of Use.

The Role of Tramper in Any Transaction

Tramper operates solely as a technology platform that connects Shoppers seeking faster and more cost-effective shipment options with Travelers who have available space in their luggage and are willing to transport items on the Shopper’s behalf.

Tramper does not:

  • Act as a carrier, courier, freight forwarder, logistics provider, or shipping company
  • Own, operate, or control any transportation services
  • Take possession, custody, or control of any shipment at any time
  • Employ staff, agents, or affiliates who transport or handle shipments

Tramper does not provide logistics, transportation, or delivery services and is not a party to any agreement between Shoppers and Travelers. Each party is solely responsible for the performance of their respective obligations in any transaction facilitated through the Application.

Limitation of Liability (تحديد المسؤولية)

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tramper, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, loss of goodwill, personal injury, property damage, or emotional distress, arising out of or related to:

The use of or inability to use the Tramper Application or services

Any transaction, agreement, or interaction between Shoppers and Travelers

Loss, theft, delay, damage, or confiscation of any shipment

Actions or omissions of any Shopper, Traveler, airline, courier, customs authority, or third party

Any illegal, prohibited, or non-compliant shipment

In no event shall Tramper’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the use of the Application or services exceed the total amount of fees actually paid to Tramper by the user in connection with the specific transaction giving rise to the claim, if any.

Customs Duties, Taxes, and Regulations

Customs Duties and Taxes are legally mandated fees applied to shipments, items, or any goods carried by Travelers/Passengers or imported from abroad to the country where the recipient is located. These duties and taxes are determined and enforced based on the policies and regulations of the country where the items arrive. The amount and applicability vary by country and can generally be verified through official customs websites or government resources. Certain goods may qualify for duty-free exemptions depending on the type of item and applicable laws.

Tramper’s Commitment:
Tramper strictly complies with all customs regulations and laws applicable domestically and internationally. We strongly recommend that all users (Shoppers and Travelers) follow these regulations diligently to avoid potential confiscation, penalties, fines, or other legal consequences imposed by competent authorities.

Shopper and Traveler Commitments toward Customs

Tramper is not responsible for customs duties, taxes, penalties, or sanctions that may be applied by governmental authorities. Shoppers and Travelers are solely responsible for handling all customs-related obligations, including duties and taxes.

Tramper may provide guidance or support in cases of disputes or misinformation regarding duties paid, but it does not pay, process, or act as a mediator for customs duties or taxes on behalf of either party.

To ensure compliance and avoid customs-related issues, the following commitments must be observed by Shoppers and Travelers:

    • Tramper reserves the right to deduct the Traveler’s   rewards and reimburse Shoppers in cases where they were unfairly  required to pay customs duties due to the Traveler’s actions.

Tamper Mediation and Support Regarding Customs Incidents

  3. Response Time
    • Standard mediation requests or incidents are generally addressed within 2–4 business days.
    • More complex cases may require 20–35 business days to investigate and provide a resolution.

  1. Limitations
Tramper’s mediation and support do not constitute payment of duties or  legal responsibility. All customs obligations remain the sole responsibility of the Shopper and Traveler. Tramper’s role is limited to  facilitating communication and assisting in dispute resolution.
